Philadelphia, PA (February 4, 2011) – Visitors at the American Equestrian Trade Association’s (AETA) 2011 International Trade Show had a sneak peek at the latest in technology from Equilibrium Products — Airlite Open Front and Fetlock Boots — while visiting the World Equestrian Brands, LLC booth. A distributor of Amerigo saddles and strap goods, Amerigo Vega saddles, Vespucci, E.A. Mattes and Equilibrium products, World Equestrian Brands was pleased to be part of the AETA show and take part in the debut of the new Airlite boots.
“It was very exciting to show off the Airlite Open Front and Fetlock Boots, a brand new product from Equilibrium, at the trade show. The response was overwhelming,” said Robin Moore, President of World Equestrian Brands. “The Airlite boots protect the horse’s leg from concussion, penetration and overheating.”
Tri=Zone Airlite open front boot
The Airlite series of leg protection covers the Tri-zone range on the horse’s leg. “Airlite technology uses a triple layer system to deliver high levels of protection while maintaining flexibility, breathability and remaining light weight,” Moore said. “The technology comes from years of research and testing by scientist, veterinarians and professional riders.”
Moore said she is thrilled with the technology that stands behind the Equilibrium products and believes rider’s will consider the Airlite boots to be a “must have” in their tack rooms. “Our entire World Equestrian Brands staff is dedicated to the equestrian community, and as we are all riders, so in addition to the testing done by our manufacturers, we also test the products to ensure they are the best available on the market,” she said.
Tri-Zone Airlite Fetlock Hind Boot
Moore said the Airlite Open Front and Fetlock Boots are made from layering three materials, which includes an outer layer made with an extremely protective, yet flexible EVA mesh. The middle layer is a densely woven, tough nylon mesh that blocks debris from entering the boots, yet allows heat and water to escape the boot. The inner layer is made from a shock absorbing EVA with raised platforms which promote even further heat dissemination, encouraging the horse’s natural cooling system.
